Hailing from sunny California, Waiting 4 Wyatt is an Alternative Pop band whose music is upbeat, intelligent, and highly addictive. Powerful vocal harmonies, roaring guitars, and honest subject matter are signature to the W4W sound. The band is Lucy Levinsohn (vocals), Anya Boyer (keys), Billy Berman (bass), Jon Ruiz (guitar) and, Jae Wong (drums).
W4W has performed in LA hotspots such as; House of Blues, Keyclub, Knitting Factory, Troubadour, and Whisky A Go Go. Known for their high energy performances the band has been steadily building a devoted fan base. Since the release of their first release album “What are you waiting for?” several songs have been picked up by various hit MTV shows. The single, "More than myself," was the first song to be placed on "Meet the Barkers." After the show aired the band landed more placements on “Cheyenne”, “Parental Control” and most recently, “Underage and Engaged”.
The band embarked on their first regional tour of California in September of 2006. The two week adventure took the band from San Francisco to San Diego hitting 11 cities in between.
In March of 2007 W4W was invited to Austin, Texas where they were a featured artist for the Invasion of the Go Girls at SXSW. The band is currently in the studio writing and recording songs for their second release as well as planning a summer tour in support.
Sharing one common goal, to create honest music, this band is out to prove that the wait is over. Wyatt has arrived.
